I've recently restarted one of my favourite genres of photography - Figure Study!
Figure Study is simply the rendering of the human body - most often done in charcoal, pen & ink (Life Drawing) or with paint.... in my case, light and shadow are my paint.
I recently connected with a local Life drawing group, and one of their regular models was kind enough to pose for me.
Not only to pose, but Tamara was bold enough to pose on a wobbly plant stand and managed to make it look good!
I always hope that in 20, 30 or even more years my subjects will look back fondly on the art we created together, and recall how that wonderful machine that is the Human Body looked when it was young and strong.
