... a whiter shade of pale
My first editorial in a very long time, I was able to work with a fantastic team to bring this concept to the screen.
Admittedly, the lyrics accompanying this post came after the actual shoot, thanks to YouTube randomly throwing the Annie Lennox video into my stream.
With excerpts of original lyrics and cut by the English rock band Procol Harum issued as their debut record on 12 May 1967, and covered by Annie Lennox for her second solo album, Medusa (1995).

And although my eyes were open
They might have just as well've been closed

Turned cartwheels 'cross the floor
I was feeling kinda seasick
The crowd called out for more

She said "there is no reason"
And the truth is plain to see

And so it was that later
.... that her face, at first just ghostly
Turned a whiter shade of pale
